Winter Graduation

When we think of graduation, we often think of spring: with graduation robes flowing in the breeze, flowers from friends, and family member to congratulate us.

Recently, we watched two two students, Naoko and Megumi, “graduate” from the Heritage English Language Program (HELP).  Naoko and Megumi are now back in Japan.

We hope to see them again on Zoom as part of our Global English Learning Class (see link for signups).

We had a wonderful outside celebration.  It was not spring – it was cold!

We gave them gifts of our words – to tell what they had meant to us.

We gave graduation certificates.

We gave (virtual) hugs.

We are thankful for their participation in these classes and we’re sure they could lead English classes in Japan.

From all of us here at Heritage, congratulations!

Sharing words of encouragement with Naoko and Megumi
