Level 1 – Conversation Classes

In our HELP Conversation Classes, you will improve in your ability to speak English.

Classes are offered online and in-person. Conversation practice will be led by Dr. Linda Reed and TESOL trained Heritage College students.

Cost: Classes are free; no charge.

Content: In our classes, students speak and listen to English and we teach grammar and reading.

Certificate: If you attend 70% of the classes, a Letter or Certificate will be provided for employment or government purposes.

Location:  Classes available online on Zoom and in-person. Those who enroll will be informed of the class location or login details.

Class Times for Fall 2023:

• Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:45 pm in person at Heritage College.
• Thursday Evening Global Class from 7:30 to 9:00 pm EST online on Zoom (NOTE: This Thursday evening option is not running at this time). This class is open to students in Canada and around the world.
• Canadian Cultural Events. We’ll enjoy walks in the woods, visits to Canadian homes, and holiday celebrations.

No fee required for any of our classes.
