Level 1 – Conversation Classes

In our HELP Conversation Classes, you will improve in your ability to speak English.

Classes are offered online and in-person in friendly, guided conversation circles led by Dr. Linda Reed and TESOL trained Heritage College students.

Classes are free; no charge.

In our Conversation Classes, students practice speaking and listening to English.  Classes are offered on Zoom and in person in friendly, guided conversation circles.  

Location:  Classes available online on Zoom and in-person at selected times. Please observe the times and locations for each class.

Class Times: 

• Monday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 pm EST (not offered this semester)
  • This class is being moved to Wednesday afternoons.
• Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 pm EST.
  • This class is offered online through Zoom.
  • Level 1 – Beginners to Low-Intermediates
  • Level 2 – Intermediates to Advanced (optional homework is included)
• Thursday Evening Class (In Person) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm EST.
  • This class is offered in-person at Heritage College.
  • Levels 1 and 2
• Thursday Evening Global Class (for students living outside of Canada) from 7:30 to 9:00 pm EST.
  • This class is offered online and extends to students globally.
  • Levels 1 and 2
• Canadian Cultural Events (dates to be determined) – watch for fun upcoming activities!
• Bible Study or Alpha Course for Internationals.
  • While we may at times read portions of the Bible in our Wednesday afternoon classes, this option provides students a specific time to get to know God better and to study the Bible. If that is you, please sign up for this study.
  • Times and location depending on registration.
